The BBC Proms 2020 was a low key affair as we all know with no live audience (due to Covid-19 restrictions). However, one of the most famous Sitar players of all time, Anoushka Shankar was allowed a restricted orchestra performance and it was incredible in my opinion. Music from the Sitar touches me deeply and this performance was so awe inspiring and uplifting for me; especially during those dark and gloomy days of lockdown 🙁
