I once went to an event in London where a spiritual guru was on stage and this woman went up with her baby daughter and started to challenge him. She was a passionate Earth activist. Her argument was that spiritual leaders should take more responsibility for the earth and raise the agenda so that governments and people around the world could take steps to protect the earth, climate change etc. He agreed with her but he said that this was not his topic for the evening as he had other things he wanted to share. However, the woman persevered and was being Boo ‘d off the stage (quite ironic at a spiritual talk). Anyway the final response the guru gave was that if this topic was so important to her then she must do something about it; but without imposing on other people. It was not his priority at that time. I liked his response.
Our actions as human beings on this planet will determine our fate.
Nature doesn’t need people. People need Nature!
